Geoff McGregor, CCIM, President, and CEO of McGregor Interests, Inc. started his career with McGregor Interests, Inc. in 1998 He received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration – Real Estate Land Use Economics from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. While completing his degree, he expanded the company’s business to include the acquisition and remodeling of single family homes while obtaining his CCIM designation. He is involved with the Company’s investment analysis and his most recent projects are Plaza 151 and Lock Box Storage expansion.
Geoff specializes in real estate syndications, partnerships, lease negotiations, construction management, and investment analysis.
Geoff is a member of the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) of Omaha, and holds a Broker’s license in Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, and Missouri. He is an Eagle Scout.
Drew Strohmeyer’s employment at McGregor Interests, Inc. started in 2003 while he was in high school. Drew worked part time performing lawn care and property maintenance functions during his high school and college studies and found time to earn his Nebraska real estate license.
Drew transitioned to full time in 2011 and now also holds real estate licenses in Kansas and Missouri. Mr. Strohmeyer is a Property Manager with the firm and his duties include overseeing building maintenance, tenant build out, lease renewals, lease compliance, budgeting and most importantly helping to maximize property performance.
Abbey Abernathy, started her career in 2022 as the Office Manager. Abbey’s specialty is in customer service, marketing, and leadership. Abbey enjoys the rewards and challenges that come with daily operations of an office and is adept to wearing many hats collaborating with all organizational levels. She enjoys spending as much time with friends and family and you’ll find that same outgoing personality at McGregor Interests.
Tonya’s career at McGregor Interests Inc. started in 2021. Tonya’s expertise is in customer service, collections, accounts payable and account receivable. Tonya’s role is the accounts payable and receivable associate for McGregor Interests, Inc.
A native of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Gerik attended the University of Nebraska – Lincoln. He graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science degree in both Finance and Accounting. While in school, he managed to catch the real estate bug and began sourcing residential deal opportunities for investors. In an effort to further learn about real estate, he joined a property management company overseeing close to 1,000 residential units before ultimately deciding to fully shift his focus to commercial real estate assets.
Gerik holds a real estate license in the state of Nebraska. His focus at McGregor Interests, Inc., is lease negotiations, outside brokerage, and investment analysis.
LeGrande “Mac” McGregor, is a licensed real estate broker and specializes in real estate syndications, partnerships, real estate management and brokerage.
Active in real estate lending and investments since 1971, Mac’s clientele consists of business owners, managers, brokers/dealers and real estate brokers. He is a Certified Shopping Center Manager as granted by the International Council of Shopping Centers and a past member of the Nebraska Real Estate Commission, Second District where he served as Chairman of the Budget and Finance Committee. Mac invests in quality income producing real estate that has the potential of building wealth and preserving capital with partners who share long-term goals. He treats each partner as though they were his only partner. Mac is the General Partner in several limited partnerships, representing investors from a majority of the states and a few foreign countries.
Mac obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Idaho State University. To further his knowledge, he regularly attends real estate taxation courses through the University of New York in addition to other real estate related courses.
Active in community affairs, Mac has served as Chairman of the Mayor’s Strategic Planning Committee for the City of Omaha. He is an Eagle Scout and is active in the Mid-American Council of Boy Scouts, and is currently a member of the Board of Trustees, having served as Chairman of the Frontier District, Chairman of Friends of Scouting and Scout Master.LEGRANDE MCGREGOR
